Board-Certified Dermatology Nurse Practitioner
Dana McCullar, CRNP, is a board-certified dermatology nurse practitioner and the owner of Jasper Dermatology. She opened the office in downtown Jasper in 2024 with a simple idea: patients should not have to wait months to have a skin issue looked at, and they should not feel rushed once they get there.
Dana cares for patients of every age, from children to seniors, and treats concerns across medical and cosmetic dermatology. That includes acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, rashes, and hair loss, along with skin cancer screenings, mole and lesion removal, and treatments like microneedling and chemical peels. She sees every patient herself, so you work with the same provider each visit and never have to repeat your history.
Her approach starts with listening. Dana takes the time to understand what brought you in, explains what she is seeing and why, and walks you through your options before anything is decided. She does not double book, which means your appointment is your appointment. Patients often tell her the office feels calm and welcoming rather than clinical.
Dana is board certified through the Society of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the Alabama Society of Dermatology Professionals. Jasper Dermatology was named Best Dermatology Office in the 2025 Readers' Choice Awards.
